I ordered a DB Hopsack Dark Navy Blazer from WW Chan. Patrick recommended brass buttons. I'm not that fond of them, so went with brown horn. I am having second thoughts. I don't want the jacket to look like the dreaded suit orphan. Do you think there's much danger of that in this instance, or should I just go with the brass to alleviate that concern?

It's fine. Navy is widely accepted as an odd jacket or a suit. Nobody is going to think you are one of teh poors that can't afford a separate SC just because you have brown horn buttons instead of brass. People worry about this too much IMHO. You can always switch them out later if you want anyway.

+1. The fact that it's hopsack also helps your cause.

Thanks, gentleman. And Unbel is right - I was thinking that I could switch out later if needed.
