^ Look for coats by Hobson of Copenhagen for more of the same, they're the local store/maker for those

Found on EBay, Baby Llama Coat

Awesome coat and it wears quite lightly. I sold one of these to someone on here a while ago (pretty sure it's on the sw&s waywt) then got lucky and found another one and I'm definitely keeping it this time.

I kept forgetting to tag you ITT. I'd love to see your coat collection.

RE: Hairy brown coats.

Here's a quick and dirty short of the alpaca coat I bought off etsy.

It's a replica of some women's brand. The coat is tight across the waist unfortunately, lots of pulling at the button with a sports coat on underneath. Short sleeves too, I'll wear gloves to make up for that. Overall, not oversized like I was expecting.

So it has some flaws for me, but the fabric feels real nice. Alpaca/wool/silk blend. It looks like one would overheat in this, but it's the opposite. I wore this inside for 20 minutes and somehow didn't sweat or overheat. Supposedly alpaca is a great fibre for thermoregulation.

It also nails the overall teddy coat vibes I was wanting. The enormous lapels and lapped seams are awesome.

I like it and it looks good on you, but it certainly would look better, if you would take the care to style it properly. Bare legs are really a turnoff.

The -26 C was in Chicago when I was there in the 70s and 80s. Once it was -26 F or -32 C.
at night. During that time I went X-Country skiing in Wisconsin on a sunny day when it was
-10. And this was southern Wisconsin- the Kettle Moraine area. None of this compares to
Vorkuta, the notorious Gulag town and site of an inmate uprising after the death of Stalin
and arrest of Beria. I doubt that the inmates were concerned with questions like "Ulster
vs. Balmacaan."

I gotta tell you, I didn't see Vorkuta coming, after...balmacaan.

Educational segue.

100%. That post was more of an unboxing shot of the coat in my shorts. I've 0 plans on wearing it that way
