I'm not sure anyone can answer that question for you in a meaningful way. I like Selosse, but I like barrel fermented Champagnes and think this approach adds another dimension to the wines. Some people don't care for the style. If you like Krug, Bollinger you may like Selosse. Whether or not it's worth it is solely up to you.
You are curious. If the price is good (wine-searcher.com) then why not try them? That way you will know if repeat is worth it.
Will you overpay for Selosse, Krug, Cristal, Chanel or Hermes at any reasonable retail price? Absolutely.
the way to buy Krug, if you are in New York, is to buy splits for <$60. NV Grand Cuvee only.
Drinking this now, strikes me as firmly medium sweet, off dry ++ at the very minimum.
I once saw a man drink 5 of those at the EMP bar. They were...more than $60.
Just had it yesterday - had previously had the Stone River (Cab/Syrah/Merlot/CabFranc). Really good QPR, everyone liked it.^ I'm a big fan of Beresan Cabernet - FP offers it for, I think, $20 and I think the current vintage offered is '09 or '10
@CBrown85 here's a maker you might look for. I landed four of these @ $25 (Full Pull) and have enjoyed his Board Track line in the past. This is 2014 so going down to sleep.

Is Sellose worth it? Might be able to get a bottle each of the Initial and Substance, but they're pretty expensive.
