You don't have to keep laying on the hate for California style. Or do you want me to critique your fits?

Sorry if I read condescension in your 'critiques', but you started off by saying "I know you hate critiques". I responded with a joke and you wouldn't let it die with that.

I don't hate critiques, I hate condescending attitudes. The Styleforum way is not the only way. I'm not trying to change opinions, just offering my own.

Yeah, you come off as a real joker. Take style less seriously, it'll make you happier.

And be glad I didn't post a thrift fit ten minutes ago. I just finished my swim workout.

I meant a thread just for critiquing your fits, since I know how much you love it :) Just kidding.

Seriously, though, I appreciate your reminders around here to use a light-hand when commenting on fits. I like analyzing and discussing the merits of fits, but sometimes we do need a reminder not to be dicks about it.

I do get a bit too defensive with my own pics. But seriously, when was the last time you saw me critique a fit? I appreciate the thought people out into what they wear, and tend to not respond negatively to people's fits. The last time I did, I got lambasted for it.

I'm not 'That User Who Shall Not Be Named". I don't think my style is better than anyone else's, just different. This is why it bothers me when other people find it necessary to put my fits down.

I did get and understand the idea of wearing chukkas instead of sandals. However, it was 15 degrees cooler here today than it was on Monday. Of course I can dress warmer when it's in the low 60s!
