I know you hate feedback, but I think this fit would really be elevated with chukkas or boat shoes/mocs or chesea boots. I'm sure the Tevas are super comfortable but they take this dead into dadwear/software engineer territory.

Like, slip-on ropers, sure, but refined chelsea boots would be weird.

I'll rock beat-up jeans with wimpy loafers, but I myself would probably avoid sandals with serious workwear jeans -- I mean, heavy jeans with heavy shoes, sure, or something lighter with sandals, but both together wouldn't be me. That said, the serious tall-ship sailors I know, to a woman, tend to wear Carhartts with Merrells or Keens, and in context I'd rip that off in a heartbeat.

Made it from tandy leather. Should have used better quality leather in retrospect, but wtv.

Looks good, T. I was thinking of getting the trucker in denim, but that thing is festooned with pockets. Looks better in the waxed version actually.

Check out the chore coat. Slimmer fit, would be better for you IMO. This is a bit boxy.
