Yeah, I've been trying to go during lunch a couple of times a week. My best finds came on a Saturday a couple hours after the store opened. Found 2 j press in my size which was a first!

That's just dumb. It's less work they have to do.

Haha yeah. I'm probably going to keep doing it. More likely to yell at some scraggly lady vs a guy in a blazer.

I feel weird going through the rack as they bring it out aha
This is what I think of when I ask myself "is it weird that I'm sandwiched between two 50yr old ladies flipping through someone's old clothes?"

How can I lay a hold of them Soggy Bottom Boys?
Soggy Bottom. I don't precisely recollect them.
They cut a record a few days ago, an old-timey harmony thing, with a guitar accomp... accomp...
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I remember them.
Coloured fellas, I believe.
Yes, sir, they a fine bunch of boys.
They sang into yonder can, then skedaddled.
Well, that record is just goin' through the goddam roof.
They playin' it far away as Mobile.
No.
Whole damn state's goin' apey.
Well, it was a powerful air.
Hot damn, we gotta find them boys and sign 'em to a big fat contract.
Hell's bells, Mr. Lund, if we don't, the goddam competition will.
Oh, mercy, yes, we got to beat that competition.
Yes, sir.
Yes, sir.

You would think so but there's not much worse than having one customer in a whole store and they have to stand RIGHT IN FRONT OF WHERE YOU'RE WORKING! :fu:

Meanwhile, Dig wastes $10 at the thrift store. Remember all that talk about Sir Pendleton worsted wool shirts?

I'm sure it can be tailored into short sleeves but who wants a worsted wool summer shirt?

Also 3 tiny stains that I was planning on having removed.
700
Cost plus shipping if anyone wants to take a chance on it.

In Atlanta, it is FORBIDDEN to browse the racks.
I was in a GW in ATL earlier this year when I was there for work. They gave a teaser over the speaker about what was about to come out and basically said don't f'ing touch it until it's hung.

I was feeling a bit ****** about my awesome St. Andrews find that turned out to be unvented, but then I realized that a ton of people actually prefer unvented jackets (well, maybe not a ton).

Here's something from a thread on SF. And I bet the guys at Ask Andy are even more forgiving (though the piece was made in Italy, so that's a dealbreaker right there).

And on the subject of always checking the buttons, these are just cool and nothing else, right? No markings on the back.

Those look pretty sweet from here! Lug soles or otherwise? I was just checking out the version that LL Bean sells with the lugged soles.
This is not the lug sole version, but I did get them from LL Bean. Also gave them my "treatment". I love them? Very warm and they look awesome.

Will do a full SS post this evening, but wanted to go ahead and say a huge thanks - had 3 inches of snow on the ground this morning, and a cashmere Canali scarf was just the thing to help stay warm!
