I've met him, he is very intimidating in real life. :D That watch is superb! A thrift find as well?
 Damn you, Telly Savalas pate and Henry Rollins neck! Yes, the watch was thrifted last week, with in-store assists from TBen and Fueco.

Some recent finds--quite a few pictures, so I'm spoilering the post in its entirety.

Some ties:

Gianfranco Rao, vintage BB x2 (I usually pass on BB, but I do dig some of the vintage BB patterns).

Ben Silver Cravate, vintage Gucci, vintage Stefano Ricci.

Vintage John Comfort, vintage H&B x2.

T&A x2, vintage Drake's blue paisley madder.

Close-up of the Drake's.

A pair of pants (not too much of brag):

H for Tommy Hilfiger--based on the way people spoke of the label, I would have expected them to be nicer.

Some shirts:

Pendleton wool shirt-jacket (XL, available).

BB MTO tuxedo shirt--nice fabric and MoP buttons (~16.5, available).

BB purple label striped dress shirts with spread collars and two-button cuffs (16.5/33, available).

Azzaro Paris striped dress shirt (15.5, available).

Bogosse white button-down sportshirt--definitely a Robert Graham vibe (4, available).

Interesting cuffs.

RLPL blue dress shirt (15, available).

Oxxford Clothes checked dress shirt (15.5, available).

Luciano Barbera striped sportshirt (L, available).

Zegna plaid button-down sportshirt (L, available).

Beautiful pattern.

Smoked MoP buttons.

Some sportcoats:

Norman Hilton for Wm Fox & Co glen-plaid fully-canvassed sportcoat (40 or 42--need to confirm, available).

Some crazy vintage Brooks Brothers sportcoats, both are 3-roll-2 sacks:

Vintage BB sportcoat--fabric feels like it could be cotton or a cotton-blend (42, available).

Vintage BB sportcoat--fabric seems like linen or a linen blend (39, available).

Some suits:

John Varvatos mainline half-canvassed made in Italy charcoal glen-plaid suit with FF pants (EU 54, available).

Vintage PRL gray glen-plaid suit with ticket pocket and double-forward pleated pants (US 42, available).

A jacket:

C'N'C Costume National black wool-cashmere blend belted jacket (EU 54, available).

Some coats:

Structure made in Italy color-block toggle coat with horn toggles (M, available)

Yep, this is definitely what you think it is.

Willis & Geiger cotton bush poplin parka with detachable hood, plus lots of buttons and pockets (XL, available).

Some shoes:

Ferragamo Studio black captoe balmorals (9.5, available).

Allen Edmonds Corporate Casuals black captoe bluchers--styled like the Cliftons, but with a comfort insole and a vibram outsole (12D, available).

Gravati black PTB (9, available).

The best for last:

Sutor Mantellassi brown split-toe bluchers, with Norvegese construction and beautiful antiquing.

Edward Green's signature model, the Dover, in brown (UK 9/US 9.5, available).

I feel you, and used to have the same policy, but if you order the little clear plastic sticky envelopes from USPS and print from Ebay, it's just as easy as mailing anything else.

Mini thrift fit for today:

Coat: Carroll & Co. w/ LP Fabric (bought from Xenos)
Shirt: Tom Ford (thrifted)
Tie: Talbott (thrifted)
Square: No-Name Hand Rolled in Italy (thrifted)
Pants: Howard Yount (sale)
Socks: Pantharella (STP)
Shoes: Church's (thrifted)
