I’m alive. Haha. I had a SFer text me a week or so ago asking if I were ok, so I figured I should probably pop in. Life with 3 kids under 10 makes the days go by pretty quick. I’ve been meaning to catch up on here, so no time better than the present. Any big highlights I missed over the past several months? My apologies to anyone who reached out on here to me with questions or asking for advice. I didn’t mean to go MIA for so long.

Here’s a Sunday thrift fit (all thrifted) for now. Highlight photos of random finds from the past several months to come.

-16 F (it hurt to breathe, hence my facial expression…hah) right now, so I was able to break out what my kids call “the blanket coat”.

Quick stop at a local spot right as it opened, its extremely hit or miss but today was not too shabby and not overpriced. Polo 1/4 zip and zegna crewneck for my old man, hilda icelandic wool and a guernsey-style wool sweater made in new zealand for my lady, mi-usa polo jeans, patagonia trucker, old ll bean pleated seersucker pants just in time for the arctic vortex and a big man old carhartt belt for me. Nothing too crazy but it scratched the itch.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
