hoping 2025 things start to show back up in our thrift stores! still been dry going on a year and half since i found something local. i went through my old ebay folder on my laptop and honestly dumbfounded at the fall off of my area. versace, d&g, small japan labels, classic americana and true vintage. the dairy land of the usa aint making me no cheese on the thrift front lol. maybe ill do chi town thrifts every other weekend or something, I miss the feeling!

Anybody know what this thing is? No luck in finding anything similar from Canali when I checked... Is it even authentic? I believe it is a rain coat, but I can't find many examples using that style of tag layout.

Why does it look crooked?

What about the care tag on the side?

The crookedness isn't a look.. it is crooked! Lol. One of the reasons I was concerned about authenticity. I did find one other one after digging around a little on eBay listed as a rain coat, and for $500. Not the same exact model of mine, but definitely same tag and style and all. Still not convinced either is legit. Lol.

Care tag:

Okay, last one. I'll try to post less photos next run. Tumi is pretty dirty from the outside but looks brand new on the inside. Hopefully it'll clean up well. Paid up on the platforms at $40. The Eric Ross doesn't seem to have a big market but it's likely a cashmere or cashmere blend, fairly heavy too. I like the pockets. Shoulders are kind of boxy. May keep for me.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
