agree about font. also, where is the mark above 2nd "e" in Hermes on the tag?

I think I’ve got a similar pair in my backlog, I was told by a few folks probably @Nataku and @leftofthedial they were 70s

It’s been years since the last time I found a pair of PRL Made In England shoes. They used to be somewhat common but now I can’t even remember who made them for PRL. Any ideas?

I haven't seen that marking before, sorry I can't help you with that pair. There is a discussion over here about RL. The higher end lines are often Crockett & Jones but the Polo line, I'm not familiar with.

What is the heel pattern like if original. I am pretty sure I found a pair of these years ago. I am thinking Alfred sargeant. If so there should be a double row of nails.
