Update: I'm re-weaving it myself. It won't be perfect, but it will be more than good enough to sell and wear. Larger of the two holes is already almost done. Hard work, but I've certainly got the time on my hands rn

Still running a Poshmark return request, in case I somehow missed even more damage. If not, the seller still thoroughly deserves the fear of God put in them for this ?

To the surprise of nobody, I can confirm that reweaving is hard.

These two crude repairs will have to suffice for now. A buyer can get the coat hemmed, or pay for a professional job.

That big hole was always going to be really hard for a total amateur to work on. It certainly proved as much.

The fibers are packed in tightly now, and won't break. This is on the inner face of the double breast, which helps a bit, but ughhhh

Still, if that fit me, I'd double my own money on it in a heartbeat. Effing amazing polo coat.

I'd wear that without a problem. I think repairs like that only gives the garment more soul.

I assumed this was Mack Weldon when I bought it. Exactly zero other tags. Anyone recognize the logo?
On a long sleeve athletic tee, possibly cotton? feels very high quality. The white spots on the cuffs are reflective tape sewn in catching the flash.


Actually went out this week. Once. Thrifts were (thankfully) dead and very tidy. I talked to some GW staff and was shocked that they kept them on staff full time, all this time. I thought for sure they would have hacked everyone based on how poorly they treat people during the good times.

I've had really good luck working from home and hustling at the same time. Almost like doing 2 jobs. I found some RL Orienta bedding for that brutalist set I bought last month. And then I put an ad on Kijiji trying to dig up a pair of Lotte lamps. And someone actually answered. The Bowie promo poster is gonna have its haters (my friend says she thinks it's "scary"), but I like it up there.
