I still to this day can't watch the part where they bury Pesci and his brother alive. It's so horrible

It's a true story, that's how they actually were killed. And think about it, it's not like they were undeserving. I mean I'm kinda one to root for the bad guy and stuff but the character Pesci played, the real guy, he was a ******* psychopath.

Speaking of the the Adidas King Push EQT's... I found these a while back at true thrift prices. This was the first collaboration with adidas and Pusha. First color way was the coke white in 2014 and black in 2015. The details were crazy on these - everything from the cracked coke white leather to the fish scales and pyrex pot measuring soles. I figured that nobody cared much for Adidas and Pusha T collaborations since this is a classic menswear forum.... but guess the Adidas train is on full hype right now with Yeezy SZN and Ultra Boosts and NMD's...

What the actual f.

This had to be a revenge or breakup donation. Nobody waits in lines then says well, I'm going to donate these.

Trust me - I had to quadruple check to make sure they weren't fake. I definitely made quite a nice profit on those on that other site... :slayer:

Stupidity makes no sense here. Wasting your time waiting in line to buy shoes and then just redonating them is just a waist of your time. I guess you could call it stupid but that doesn't really describe that action, it's more like irrational, illogical, borderline weird.....those were never waited for, no camping, no numbers drawn, no lines, no bullshit. Somebody paid somebody to wait or more likely paid one of the sneaker heads that gets all the sneakers from the shops before release for 3x retail. They then either wore them once or twice and thats their limit with sneakers or wore them and didn't like them and got rid of them. These belonged to someone who has expendable cash and sure as **** didn't wait in any line for those things.

if it makes you feel any better i understand those were animatronics - robo-pesci.
10000% if you watch Pescis mouth moving while trying to breathe while getting buried he looks like one of the animatronic dinasours from the first Jurassic park went full marsupial.

^ 100% Fake.

Was it the uneven Hermes logo, or the machine stitched edges that gave it away first?
The tag looks good, though.

I still dream of true-thrifting an Hermes scarf. The side effect of this is that I have a closet full of wool, cashmere, and cotton scarves I scooped from the women's section. It's as bad as my shoe collection.

All of it. Pattern, that crepe material, typewriter font, that ****** "Hand rolling" which it isn't even, "Paris", etc...

Cross post - Does anyone know who the maker is on this? It's on a Chester Barrie overcoat made in Italy and sold as a sample, hence the handwritten label I expect.

Thanks in advance.
