I've got a pair of those brown suede BB captoes and I would guess they're 10-15 years old, but I got them secondhand in 2007 so I don't really know...

I believe @eazye has the same pair, maybe he knows more.

Thanks! Yeah I'm guessing the suede captoes were made by AE.

Curious as to the age/mfg of the patent bowtie tux shoes that were made in Great Britain. Seems like they may be the oldest pair of shoes I've picked up to date.

Picked up a lot of 9 pairs of gloves. Paid $10 a pair. It appears 7 or 8 are handsewn. I wish I knew more about leather so I'd know what type of leathers I have here, though I believe some are kidskin. Also, I'm not positive that all these are men's. I think some of these are from the 40s and 50s.

First two are NA. Most are size 8 or 8.5

If anyone has any knowledge about these, please PM.

This was the first pair in the box. Ralph Lauren Purple Label peccary. Mind blown.

Jay Kos orange cashmere. Silk lined.

Geier roper gloves.

Markings are "Veau Velours" and "Coupe Main".

Only marking is "4029".

Only marking is "Genuine Tanoa".

Only marking is "100% Soie Naturelle. Made in France".

Kislav gloves.

Lionel Le Grand. Made in France for Denise Francelle, a now closed boutique. I believe the leather is kidskin.

The only marking on these is a fleur de lis.

judging from the care tag the LL Bean is not all that old. i'd put it at 70s or later. if it's got the laundry hieroglyphs on the back that will tell you much.

I just picked up a very nice tweed jacket, which feels like cashmere. The interior label reads "Boardwalk Empire", and "Al Capone".... Does anyone have any idea who made this, or what this might mean? There's also the date 1/29/13.

As others have said, MG made for the show, which was filmed in Brooklyn. If you don't see any MG signs and are still curious Carl from CEGO (@Shirtmaven ) is plugged into the NYC film scene and might be of some help.

Greenfield made the suits
Look for a union label inside the pockets.
Did you find this in nyc or California. Most wardrobes are sent back to LA. Then sold off pretty placed in a warehouse for future use. Curious to see the label inside.
