A thrift trip with a buddy sounds fun! So James and get how do you guys decide who gets what or do you split stuff or rotate who gets what racks per store? Just wondering how that works?

Lol, although I enjoy thrifting with a buddy, I do better on my own though. I'm more focused, faster, and aggressive when attacking the racks. Of course, I get more booties!

Thrifty art talk:

There's a really rubbish dirty old charity shop near my work that I rarely go in. I've never found anything in this place. Full of tat. Anyway, since if not been in there a while I decided to do a quick stop on my lunch break. Boy did I score. Someone had donated an entire collection of coloured engraving prints from William Daniell and Robert Havell. Some of them had already gone however I managed to score this beautiful huge framed beach scene of Sidmouth in Devon, UK from 1815:

Plus I chose one of the scenes of St Michaels Mount, Cornwall (you'd like this @upr_crust!) from Daniell's 'A Voyage Around Great Britain' series from the early 1800s:

I could have gone mad and bought them all but I just took what I wanted to hang on my wall. So pleased. Cost me peanuts.

We just each head to different racks. I like starting with different things to keep it interesting. We just keep what we find unless it's something the other person likes better. We actually thrift together a lot.

Yeah a little. We knock out way more stores in a day together than I ever do solo so it evens out. Plus on a 600 mile road trip the company is awesome.

Depends on what you expect from it. It can make for a unique casual blazer. Should work nicely with jeans and basic khakis. It's going to be hit or miss with dress pants though, I'm guessing mostly miss.
