Chilly day in Texas, probably the last one of the year (or ever... it was a weak winter) so I had to hit 'em with the cardigan.
RRL Cardigan and low straights, boots is Lucchese's. Socks are Darn Tough lol

speaking of those jeans, not so much turquoise as they are that weird, country ass 70s era baby blue color

I love the turquois jeans and got mine a couple weeks ago. I sent them out to BOW to get them hemmed, got them back and put them on and the first time I went to unbutton them, the backing on the button rivet on the fly disintegrated and the button popped off and of course landed in the (thankfully clean) toilet. The backing was so destroyed and the inside of the rivet-side of the button itself was so bent up that I was unable to repair it on my own. Thankfully, I had a spare metal button of about the same size so I dropped them off at my tailor to get that sewn on since she will do a lot cleaner job than I can do and then give me a receipt.

I already contacted RL customer service to ask about a partial refund and they agreed (I didn't want to return them since a) they're sold out in my size, b) I already went to the expense/time to alter them, c) I really like them) and this is a relatively minor inconvenience that is easily fixable (I probably could have gone online and even found an actual rivet button to use) but it's still frustrating.

I am curious to the out come.
I bought a shirt last year from RRL that started failing after a few washes and wears. Although it was a few months past the return option date I reached out to customer service they asked for a few pictures then quickly replied with a refund and said keep the shirt.

They've already reimbursed me (in the form of a gift card credit but that was what I had asked for initially knowing I'd spend it with them anyway). I had reached out to RL Customer Service before I dropped them off at the tailor via email and they replied almost immediately that they'd take care of it once I sent them a receipt. I sent them the receipt for the $10 cost late yesterday evening and this morning I had a gift card code for $20 waiting for me.

Have followed this thread for years and have read so many quality complaints during that time.

This is my first complaint with quality that has risen to the point of me having to contact customer service (I'm not counting gripes about inconsistent pants sizing or the time somebody shipped me something that was clearly not what I ordered). For mass market brands, I've been pretty happy with Ralph Lauren quality across all their brands over the years and I've been wearing a lot of Polo stuff since I was in middle school back in the early '90s.

The couple of times I've had to reach out to their customer service they've always made things right very quickly.

Anticipating the upcoming sale, I put together an order and after weeding out the on the fence and unavailable items I’m at $940 🙃
I’ll probably just grab a Henley as they’re a staple for me, but does anyone know if taxes count? I’ll be over a thousand after taxes (obviously).

You need them.
Also, @WaltDud needs to get a backup pair.

Just received my first order, a W32/L32. It fits well, a bit tight, but with some space left even with a shirt tucked in.

However, it's very rigid denim and I am afraid it will shrink to a W31 after a wash or two. So I just ordered the last pair on Cultzim (W33) to compare.

Am I doing well sizing up, or does the W32 fit sound accurate for a pair of new, yet to be broken in rigid/raw denim? I'd hate to get it wrong with this pair, I absolutely love the color. Much nicer in person, as others have mentioned!

Cancelled my W33/L32 order, so should return back in stock soon.

I will stick to W32/L32. I think it will be fine after some wearing.

My SA is doing a early purchase for this sale so I got the Navy Deck Jacket, which doesn't seem to go on sale ever, and a really cool Jacquard which was my favorite from this Spring. I think 50% off or so would be the highest you can get from RL corporate stores.

I was thinking about doing another order for some items I was on the fence about and returning whatever I decide not to keep. Anyone know if the discount for this sale is spread among all the items in the order or just if you keep the entirety of the order?

When does the sale start? I just called Melrose store and guy who answered the phone said he hadn’t heard anything about a sale. Not sure if he’s just not aware of it or they are keeping it invite only. I forgot name of the SA I’ve been dealing with the last few years so I might just have to go in person. Just need to know when
