Poor light pic when trying the Varicks on:

Next to an Indy boot, the shaft is pretty high. Toebox has a good amount of room but midsection is a bit tight. Still debating to keep or not.

nice, i say keep them, mine have gotten a bit loose over the past day. I've gotten many compliments too from random people.

What do you guys suggest to use to take care of the boots?

Yeah, the fit is a bit iffy though. The Indy boots fit me like a glove and I really can't afford to keep both. Also if I had an opportunity to get a new pair of seconds of Alden Ravello PTB would you take it over both pairs (the RRLs and Indy boot)?

Well the RRL is a bit tight at the midsection area and a tiny bit long. Length wise shouldn't be an issue but width may be

Can anyone tell me the approx. model year of this cardigan? I know it must be old since it has 5 buttons instead of the usual 6. Has the RRL fit been consistent thru the years? Would it be wise to purchase it for $100?

Does anybody know where I can get the RRL Chester Brace? I found it on the UK website but they wont ship to the US and I cant find anybody in the UK to ship to me here in the US..

That cardigan is just from last year (2011) fall/winter - it is women's, hence the less buttons. The sizes 1, 2, 3 are women's sizing. (They aren't doing women's any longer, but be careful not to buy it on ebay - there's a fair amount of it floating around and they made many items that were exact duplicates of the men's pieces).

Lol I was going to buy it but the seller is letting me back out. Measurements, for what it's worth on ebay, seem to indicate that it is indeed womens...

whats with all the hoopla surrounding the RRL Varick boot? it looks rather unremarkable for $950
