Need some advice from you guys. As far as Stooges go...LO, LP or LCW?

Having a hard time deciding between Oiled Calf and Heavy Calf, personally, and was wondering if there are any pros/cons that I should consider, which may help tilt the scale one way or the other? Or is it all just preference?

I did the ol' Yoox gamble and picked an EXTREMELY affordable moto Intarsia (from Faun S/S15). It came in and I found that the leather is LGI/Glass Ice Lamb. I know this has been talked about before but this my my first personal experience with LGI...sweet mother of mercy, that is a horrible leather. It felt like a tacky windbreaker. Immediately returned.

But PSA if any body doesn't mind Glass Ice Lamb, there'll be one popping up on Yoox soon-ish for like $350, unless they bump up the price.

Thanks. They both look to be pretty substantial in weight. I've just been trying to decide between the more visible grain with the LCW and the smoother, glossier finish with the LO.

Have you noticed any other differences in the way they wear or no? Which one drapes better? LCW, though comfortable, looks like it would be the stiffer of the two and not drape as well as the LO. Is that the case? Or are they both pretty comparable in that respect as well?

@Westbound my stooges is the LCW from fw14. Its heavy and has lots of graining to it. It definitely doesn’t drape. I am not sure which one Code LO is but I’m happy with the LCW. I also have a calf intarsia which is almost same leather but a bit lighter. I’ll have to check the code when I get home. Anyways MR porter has a lamb stooges I think but I’d you can, LCW all the way.

Anyone own any LVS (nubuck?) leather jackets? If so, I'm curious what your thoughts are on it I've been thinking about buying one.

kunk...thanks again.

sinnedk: Yea', kind of figured that was the case. Thanks for confirming. I appreciate it.

By the way, I've been breezing through this thread over the past few days and ran upon a fit you posted a few years back (spoilered below) - I'm assuming that's the LCW? Looks way too smooth, but perhaps it's the lighting? Or was that a totally different leather?
