It does do that if that's your goal but they look sillier with the laces - same goes for ramone boots imo. I pretty much only wear my island dunks in the summer with nylon cropped sweats like this in very simple outfits. I can't find anything else that works well with them.

Thinking about buying my first pair of Island Dunks (1st RO item ever). Tried to search but really couldn't find info on sizing and comfort. How do they usually size...true or larger? If I'm a size 12 in Nike dunk, should I go for a 44? Also, is the sole really really stiff to the point it effects comfort slightly?

They are TTS ^. For me, very comfortable out of the box.

Are they not making any padded black bomber jackets without the button near the collar or rivets on the sleeves? Only saw a heavy cotton drkshdw one but don't like the look of that one.

Pretty tts I would say, depending on which season it might be a bit different. It's more comfortable than Geobasket for sure.

Does anybody know about the weight on the jogger cargos. I saw a good price on some ss17 ones with the fabric code /ba and I also saw some fw17 ones that also have the /ba fabric code at the end. Wouldn't this signify the same fabric? A guy on grailed said his fw17 ones are heavier weight fabric than the "thin jersey ones" from last summer, but I think they would be the same if the fabric code is both /ba. Maybe he is just pushing for a sale.
