Cuff! If you don’t like the cuffs, can always take them out. Beautiful cloth.

Also, for a second I thought you had a fish-shaped lapel buttonhole and got excited about something novel! Alas, it’s only the basting thread.
Good point on the cuffs. Nope just the thread and milanese button hole.

Sport coat. Likely a less-structured one than my last commission.

I'm pretty happy with the last Fox flannel SC that NMWA x Carrara made up. I'll likely stick with them but get a softer shoulder and maybe Patch pockets to make it more casual. Can wait until Greg comes back or my next NYC trip and have it for F/W 25.

Would like it half-lined but all the advice seems to be for fully-lined with heavier fabrics.

Here's Crompton's:

I’ll let you know results when my “hybrid” Carrara suit comes in (unstructured shoulder and cheese, but fully lined) so you can factor that in.

Simon’s coat looks great. Not normally a sport coat and jeans guy, but that fabric looks good with the black denim, and chambray shirt.

My question with this cloth is what other colors and fabrics would you wear it with?

I assume cords and flannels in light tones which are bolder ie cream, wheat, grays obviously. It seems to lean to a very dark and “modern” aesthetic.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
