I'm a size 9 and a 41 in all CP. If you go smaller you might be able to swing it but those are narrow in general.

Any other places besides here I could find someone legit to trade? I really like the waxed grey suede on these and wouldove to find another pair

Do GATS fit TTS? Or size up like Achilles??

common wisdom on common projects suggests sizing up, but when i tried to follow it i got two pairs of shoes that didn't fit. ymmv, but i wear exactly the same size in GATs and CPs

I probably received counterfeit Common Projects Achilles lows from one of those Italian fashion outlet online stores selling old stock. The leather seems off, more shiny, flat and worse quality compared to my older pairs. Also, there's brass nails but insole is not properly glued. What would you say? Either this patch got quality control issues or these are what you'd expect.

I have Artisan Lab in size 40. Typically wear 6-6.5 UK in welted footwear depending on the brand. Would I go for CPs in size 40 as well? Looking at Mr Porter but their shoe length measurements seem a bit suspect.

PS. My foot is 26.1cm / 10 1/4 inch long but very narrow.

Yeah same length due to the Margom sole I believe. The CP does seem a bit narrower/slimmer to me though. I’d go with your AL size. Wish I was home to snap a few pics for comparison for you.

innersole should be glued in - unless they've changed their production methods?

Based on that I wouldn’t say they’re counterfeit. I bought a pair last year off Farfetch but returned them due to size (huge) and the paint chipping off out of the box. I bought a pair this year from Notre shop and they fit perfectly but the paint still rubs off. I think their quality probably has gone down some, but I’ve accepted it. Still a sleek design (even if sizing remains inconsistent).

As for the removable insole, I believe my present pair is glued but I had a pair off Yoox many years back that was removable.
