I'm pretty sure that the sizing has been changed. I recently got a pair of bball 88 (model ref 2250) lows in a size 40. It was about a size shorter than my achilles lows. Both are a size 40 and bballs felt way too small. The outer sole length was 0,5 cm shorter as well. My achilles lows in a size 40 are more than 29 cm and bballs in a size 40 were 28,5 cm. I definitely need to size up in bballs compared to my achilles lows. I wonder if newer achilles models are also shorter and more true to size in nowadays.
There has been differences between different Achilles models. For example some of the suede/nubuck leather models got slightly different fit and shape than their leather models.Hey all, I just received a pair of white Achilles Lows from FarFetch (fulfilled by Dover Street Market in England). Over the past few years I've purchased quite a few pairs of CP's, and currently have three other Achilles Lows in various materials/colors.
After trying my new shoes on and comparing them side-by-side it looks like the toe box is a little wider. I don't have any reason to doubt the authenticity given where they were purchased from, but has CP updated the fit at all? My most recent pair behind these ones are from this time last year.
I can take photos and measure them tomorrow, and my eyes could very well be playing tricks on me but I figured it would be worth asking!
Very interesting you say that. The BBall 88's were pretty cool looking (loved the accenting they used, especially the tan pair), but I was turned off by the foam tongue. At an MSRP of $500 I was hoping for more. There has been differences between different Achilles models. It is also possible that they've changed their manufacturers since bball 88 (2250) model had awful quality compared to my older models. I wasn't a fan of thin leather and canvas/foam inner.

Interesting, just read through your comments relating to your shoes. Did you ever get an answer from FarFetch? And did you end up keeping them? I'm going to pull out a ruler tonight and compare my other leather Achilles to these and see if the width, etc. are the same.mate happened the same to me. Check my previous thread,I’m convinced they’re fake
I like both. Bballs actually fit me better. CP makes the best rendition of the “b-ball” style in the market.
in any newer generation Bball you'll need the same EU size as in Converses or Nike air force 1s. In example Common Projects 41 (US8) would fit the same as US 7.5 (41 in Converse 70s) or US 8 (EU 41) in Nike Air Force 1 lows. This comes from someone who has had more than 12 pairs of CPs. As I previously mentioned newer Bballs are also shorter than achilles lows if you take the same size.I've always had just achilles, but wanted to try Bballs - anyone gone that way and been unhappy?
I intend to size the same.

They look great. I prefer the look without the gold stamp these daysAfter quite a long battle I ended up returning them and buying an Artisan Lab which has better quality and it's £130
