The heel can easily look like stilts if the legs aren't long enough.

Shorter legs

If legs are too short and are paired with high heels, it reminds me of Snooki or Kim. It almost emphasizes their short legs.

Maybe with the Pages 85 but Jacno 60 is only a little over 2 inches and are barely noticeable. These girls are wearing 5 and 6 inch platform heels that are 1/3 of their legs. Snooki is only 4'8" or 142CM.

I was always under the impression that they were shorter.

Seems like it is 55 mm.

Yet the webstore, which is prone to errors and still has mistakes, lists it at 60 mm.

There could be a reality where they used different shoe sizes for the webstore photo. The size of the heels change accordingly with the shoe size. It gets taller with larger sizes and shorter with smaller sizes.

If you say the Camargue bikers are 60 mm, I defer to your judgement.

Thorns I tried your Dans Paris+Saint Germain combo this morning and feel as though I smell like a high-end museum gift shop if that gives some perspective. Like a mix of marble flooring and surrounding statuary, but otherwise rather inviting and colorful. May be a bit intense for anything ex-à-la-maison.

I know they came out with the new version of the zipped Jacno so I cannot comment on that version but they are the same exact as the Jacno 60 Chelsea boot, its just a different shaped heel.

24s also lists the Jacno 60 Chelsea differently. I have noticed French luxury web stores in general are full of errors.

I am wondering if there are any other interesting layering combinations now.

I want to suspect that different sizes of the same model has different heel heights. I know harness Wyatts are supposed to be 40 mm, but that's only when looking at the height of a specific size. I think they use size 40 or 41 in determining the heel height. I know the Wyatt heel varies from 35 mm to 45 mm. It would look weird for different sizes to have the same heel height. They have to scale the heel up and down to make sure it is proportionate with the rest of the boot. It is a shame that these websites don't stick to something consistent.

Yeah that could be it. You are right I just measured size 44 and the heel is around 42mm from the tallest part but I doubt even the smallest size is only 50mm as they listed

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
