Lol, touché. Don’t get me wrong I’ve seen people not love them. As many have said they are very straight forward well made beers, that many also find boring. But I do think for starting out with most people, especially those who don’t drink much craft beer it’s better to start with them than lambics or even De Dolle. I do love Arabier though.

If your in the US these guys carry De Dolle and many other Belgians, shipping isn’t too bad either.

In regards to aging Piraat does a rum aged ale, I have one sitting in my fridge hopefully it’s good. But yea they don’t do much.

Went to PDX last September. Peeps here pointed me in the right direction. The best beers I had were from pFriem, Fort George, Logsden, Buoy and Ecliptic. Fresh Block 15 Sticky Hands cans were real good too. DeGarde is a must.
