My dads Omega pie pan dial that he bought in '64 and wore most of my life.

My dads Swiss made Hamilton that was presented to him in '69 for a stint as the president of the Lions Club.

A Swiss no name wire lug watch from 1907 with a pristine porcelain dial.

From left to right: My grandfathers Universal Geneve chronograph from '45. My grandfathers '20s Illinois. A 40's/50's Hamilton that I bought at a Jacksonville flea market for $14. A 40's Geneve. All watches are in fine working order and keep accurate time.

Wearing my grandfather's watch today as well!

Late 40s/early 50s longines 16782023903276850095982239802422.jpg

As for complications, I like the sub second dial. The chronos are nice, but I like the simplicity fo vintage watches

This was my "everyday" watch in my twenties. I dug it out of the back of a drawer at the weekend and got a new strap, thinking I might wear it a little. Can anyone please tell me what decade it’s from? (Apologies for it not being perfectly in focus.)

Picked up this beauty a little while ago.
1968 manual wind (and incredible 47 hour reserve ) chronostop all original including the rare bracelet ,original crystal ,dial and unpolished case .
The Milanese bracelet is too delicate for my taste so I swapped it out for a nice jubilee to give it a little more oomph factor and wrist presence.
I really like it.

sorry to butt in but I have a sad story to share
I've got a silver omega pocket watch 1920
not the most expensive out there but I can assure you it was special to me
a 16th birthday present no less
anyway I smashed it jumping over a table for a bet
a watchmaker in Dunster patched it up as best he could
but I've never forgiven myself

Hey Folks,

I will once again have a booth at Windup Watch Fair this coming weekend. If you are in NYC and have time, please feel free to stop and chat. I will have a good number of straps on hand as well as some vintage pieces for sale. The event is free and open to the public.

I will be downstairs this year with some of the EDC brands.
