Exactly. That's my pair from aw13, which IMO is far nicer than ss14. ....

How do they fit D? The first season sneakers were uncomfortable for me at the toe box - a bit tight on the side pressing inward.

I'm curious about this past AW13/14 season's iteration.

Absolute perfection. I went sz43 (tts) and there are zero issues with the toe box or any pressure points. Really really happy with them. The leather (bufallo) is really nice on the sneaker.
And....they are vibramed ;-)

Picked these OC boots up from Yoox. Heard some good and bad things about quality, but took a chance anyway. I was not expecting them to look this nice actually. Yoox pictures were terrible as usual. Says on the insole that they are entirely handmade. Seems extremely solid to me, but I'm no expert. The inside is lined with a really smooth leather. Feels really nice.

Only sucky part is that the damn instep is tight for me again

Feels a bit better than the Juns I bought at one point though. Not sure if I should keep. Thoughts?

they look nice, and they can be stretched to be comfortable in the insoles, especially if the leather is not super dense. I have something i can loan you to stretch them without going to a cobbler, so maybe you should come to see me.

As for the whole discussion regarding Vibrams. Its really a Non Issue.
I Vibram ALL my boots, but my cobbler shaved down the sides of the vibram so they are not visible from the outside when i am walking/ standing

Disagreeing…what he’s done in the ’14 variant is to subtly morph the anthropomorphics of the top eye-let position - re-angled to more explicitly create an oculus, both archititechtonic and amphibian; more mutated pond life than tastefully repurposed monochrome 80s-ballcourt leftover… Just my preference.
