I'm considering the Ravello cordovan NST boot from ShoeMart, but I'm concerned that the Aberdeen last may be too narrow in the forefoot. It would be my first Alden, so I have no other lasts to compare it with. I do own AEs on the 1 and 7 lasts, both of which pinch my toes but fit well otherwise. Does anyone have any experience with either of these two lasts vis-a-vis the Aberdeen?

Out of interest rather than anything else, but does anyone else go up half a size in the unlined plain toe suede blucher compared to the (lined) cordovan version? I would have thought it would make sense to go the other way to make up for a lack of lining, but trying on the unlined suede version they definately feel tighter than my cordovan (yes, both on barrie last and same width fittings).
