I fell in love with a pair of saint crispins and then quickly reconsidered after seeing the price... In all seriousness I've considered carmina's, but I've heard people complain about the shell finish (being dry). To be fair, I haven't handled a pair in person bit love the look of the Anderson Jumper boot from Epaulet.

I must have looked at that Carmina Anderson Jumper Boot 10 million times. Pissed I never pulled the trigger..... Stunning boot for sure.

speaking of non shoe shell, can anyone recommend a good #8 shell watch band (2 piece, not a nato)? 22mm. I've seen a few here and there, but can't really ever find reviews.

I use this guy for my custom shell straps. Very reasonably priced.
Tell him I sent you.

Check these out here, Canadian store that offers Viberg. I don't know much about viberg, so there may be other stores, but all I know of is this one. Prices are steep. Not sure what the average is, however.

Plenty of threads already exist to discuss Viberg. We have even done a few rounds of Style Forum group makeups.

Whiskey LHS. I've seen a few here and there (ebay, marketplace) and missed out on the run by skyvalet. I am still holding out hope..

I don't know if I would pay a huge premium for them. I think $750-800 is more than enough.

Also try hitting CitiShoes as they stock the Whiskey LHS. Don't know if they have any in house right now, but it is something they carry.

All this talk of #4 makes me want to put my Color 4 Cap Toe boots on eBay.

Of course, forum rules would prohibit me from promoting said item, so no one here would likely discover it...

In all seriousness, all you people who think Color 4 is supreme don't own any.

Color 8 is King.  End of story.

:D

I have color 4. It is just ok. Too red to be very versatile IMO. Seldom do i wear it. On the whole I prefer color 8, cigar, ravello, and black over color 4. :nodding:
