Hey guys I have some overlap in Cigar and would be willing to flip my Cigar Antique Edge Shell Chukka's 9D. I wanted to offer these rare birds to my fellow Alden Thread users before a formal listing. PM me if your interested. I've post many pictures of these beauties. Pretty much just looking to recover my costs not profit, hey it's the season right!

A stranger sitting next to me this morning at starbucks covertly snagged a pic of my alden boots. I dont see any post here so here they are in their parking lot glory

I'm on the J Gilbert pre-order for Plaza wingtips in #8 on commando. Edging is antique, though (@TommyB you were right). Plan is to convert them to black edging. I'm thinking I can do this on my own with some black edge products. Has anyone done this on their own or used a cobbler?

Can't say I've heard of many wanting to go from antique to black but I'm wondering if J Gilberts is the mahogany antique which is darker than the much beloved antique but not black. Either way going darker usually is much easier than the other way around.

Epaulet offered these Harris tweed walts 3 years ago. I forget what Mike called them, but they're really a nice oatmeal - olive blend.

I no longer wear Aldens when I fly.

Well, that begs the question, what do you wear when you fly?
