I really wish more retailers would do that blucher with the hand stitched apron. I've seen pictures of them on Instagram in black/color 8 shell and they look amazing. It seems like that model on shows up in Asian dealers/markets but it's such a great looking shoe.

I'm going to consider this a PSA due to the desirability of the makeup. I have an 8.5D color 8 longwing w/antique edge from Bureau Belfast that I don't plan on keeping. Anyone interested in covering my cost, PM me by tomorrow. Otherwise, back they go. They are perfect and completely flawless.

PSA: Alden Snuff Suede Plain Toe Boots 40% off @ Brooks Brothers. Approx $340

I can't leave a link or phot because I'm on Southwest Flight 4006 as I'm typing this.

What kinda SICKO tells others about a boot deal while he's flying? :)

My kind of SICKO. I've been eyeing those since BB released them last year. Unfortunately, no 8.5D or I would have pulled the trigger. Thanks for the info.

Somebody offered $80 for my snuff suede chukkas through craigslist. He justified that by saying the brooks brothers' version is on sale for ~$330.

I raised my price to $580 as a special deal for him.

Alden Navy Chomexcel Longwing Blucher vs Alden Navy Suede LWB?

I know it mostly comes down to personal taste but curious what people's opinions are on which style is a better looking and/or more versatile shoe for casual wear (jeans, chinos, cords)?

Not sure if it makes a difference but I'd be looking at Leffots makeup of these shoes.
I put in a preorder for the Navy Chromexcel LWBs, they've come in, and now I'm just trying to do due diligence to make sure I the Leffot suede LWBs aren't the ones I should be waiting for.

I've never owned Chromexcel shoes so any insights on good or bad peculiarities associated with the leather would also be appreciated.

Thanks for any advice and info!
