@ Burzan, one of my 975s has lightened since I got them last spring (they were even when I first got them). I love it. I'm sure the other shoe will catch up to it. Also, I DID NOT remove the Alden glaze with Reno or anything. See this old pix. The right shoe has lightened in the vamp area:

Hi Alden fans,

I have 2 indy boots, 1 in #8 and 1 in whiskey shell cordovan that is up for sale. Both in size 9.5 D.

Is this the right place to put shoes up for sale?

Also have a pair of 975 in 9.5D that has only been used 3 times inside.

Yeah its amazing how many different shades the same pair of shoe can look depending on the light. Here are my Ravello LWB from last years DC. In the first two they seem fairly uniform. In the third the color difference is quite noticeable. All part of the charm and beauty of shell.

How old are those, out of curiosity? Now I don't think I would ever want Alden to restore my shell unless it were really necessary.
