Very upset to miss out on Leathersoul's chocolate suede tanker's. I assume there are no other similar options anywhere?

If you don't mind Tricker's, Paul and Friends in Sweden still has a few sizes left.

Those are ban worthy, not just from the B&S forum, but from the forum, period. That's a commercial post. It doesn't matter if you are making $20 or $20K.

Alden made for J Crew - suede PTB in camel and flex welt/single water loc sole. I love the look but "not" nearly as comfortable as my shell PTBs with the double leather sole.

I've been wanting these from Jcrew but they are only available in the bisque color for my size I need 8.5

Well ive fallen for the shortwing as my first love in an Alden. Can anyone offer some direction in getting a pair of shortwings in #8? LeatherSole is doing another run sometime in 2014. I cannot have an unrequited love for that long. Any advice for hookijg a pair in 2013 would be greatly appreciated.

I went with the LeatherSoul pre-order of the #8 short wings since I like an "E" width and it's generally a bit harder for me to find on the shelf somewhere. FWIW, both previous times that I've pre-ordered something in color #8, they came in considerably ahead of what was originally planned. I think it's just the shades like whiskey, ravello, and cigar that have the big delays...
