Those loafers are something. Probably the coolest pair of loafers I've seen from Alden. Gotta be so comfortable.

New (to me) PTB in Tobacco oiled Nubuck with lug soles, coupled with a pair of socks made by my mom.

Questions about those who have ordered from B+M. If I put a deposit on a shoe I understand it is non-refundable, but do they allow a transfer of the deposit to another item if I change my mind? I see they do not take returns as well.

I would ask Yenni directly, but I imagine that if you order anything other than a standard d width you can’t transfer…

Thanks, I do wear a standard width d. My fear is I put a deposit and then I get the message for a rare shell right after. (Its happened to me before)

Well maybe they’re offering you the rare shell because you ordered something else first

Yeah, it would seem like very poor form to try to bail on previous pre-orders when you get offered a spot on a exotic run. They may or may not allow it but I would suspect they wouldn’t offer you anymore in the future.
