Cigar will lighten just a bit but turn more red or green.

I found the following comments online from 10 years ago. I have no idea how accurate it is, but it seemed to hit some of your question points.

"I can't talk about the 317 (which is one of C&J's fuller lasts), but I can tell you about my experience with the 325 (which is also a full fitting last). I have a narrow foot - too narrow for a D width in any Alden last - and I find the 325 in an E width to be narrower than the Barrie in a D width. To get my correct length I size down .5 from my Barrie size. For instance my 7D Barrie lasted shoes are the same length as my 6.5E UK 325 last shoes, but the Barrie is much wider through the middle of my foot and in the heel."

I wear a UK 9.5E in the 325 and a 10B/D in Barrie. The barrie is just a tad wider in the toe. Plaza is narrower than the 325.

OK, for some unknown reason (I wasn't paying attention obviously) I posted these in the Grant Stone thread. Is it wrong to own 4 or 5 pair of boots in the same leather, although they are all different boots.....Terranova for the evening

Black shell full strap today from Brooks Brothers x Alden. I've been working working on my tie dimple and I think I finally got it this morning.
