Those of you with shoes/boots on the 379x last...do you size the same as Barrie and Trubalance? From what I’ve read, most go down a 1/2 size.

Unfortunately, AoC is out of the chamois tankers in my size. Aldenbros, do I go with the natty CXL or tobacco chamois indys? I intend to only wear these in the foulest of winter weather.

Apologies if this has been asked ad nauseam on here, but am I correct in saying that Alden doesn't make unlined loafers in smooth or cordovan leathers for themselves and only do it for Brooks Brothers? Been looking for a LHS unlined that isn't suede.

That is my understanding. They have done it for the Asian market but I’ve only seen it done with exotic shell. They do a stock unlined chromexcel in dark brown. They did one for Frans Boone on the Leydon last which I own and find quite nice but many sizes are sold out and they cost over $1k after converting from Euros and duties. I hope this helps!
