My experience is that most steeler fans have a begrudging level of respect for the Ravens (as an old Browns fan, Ozzie Newsome is one of my all time favorite players). I would gladly pick walking barefoot over a mile of hot coals, with ice pik's jammed into my temples, before rooting for the bengals.

I'll be at the game on Sunday in my Indys (think I'll be leaving the shell at home though)!
Generally I think us Steelers fans hate/respect the Raven's more. Although it was great to see the Bengals self destruct last year, the cheap shot which cost them the game made me hate them more than usual. Usually you don't hate a team you beat almost every game though..

Never used the Epics. For anyone that has, do you like them better than the Ultras?

I prefer them to the ultras. They don't exert as much stretch to the shoe because the spring does not compress as far. They are "just big enough" to fill out the shoe. The downside is that there is a very limited size range that each size Epic will fit.

If you have a wider foot, which I do, then I recommend the epic. The twin tube puts more pressure and I need that for my e-3e width shoes

That cheap shot might have cost you a Super Bowl appearance.

super quick opinion: what's the most versatile/most worn color of the "standard" suede chukka colors (tan, snuff, chocolate/dark brown)? (i wear denim 75%+ of the time)

Versatile? I'd go with dark brown.

I think snuff suede color is the most popular however

Snuff is probably the most versatile, given you wearing denim a lot.

Respectfully disagree, snuff looks good with more colors than dark brown, imo. Dark brown suede looks odd with light colors. Snuff really can be worn all year long effectively with dark and light color combinations. Dark brown suede is great and I highly recommend it, but snuff is very popular for good reason.

Funny how it works both ways.  I'm licking my chops to get better access to European boots while Alden fans overseas are starved.

The NST tanker in Europe is retailing at more than $1k. Looks like I will need to sadly ignore that itch.

Still happy with these Alpine grain tankers from Unionmade. Great combo of durability and dress.
