Fantastic pic up, I have wanted a suede tassel for a while now.

9.5D brannock =9D Barrie. Looking forward to the Spoo contribution to whiskey wednesday

You enabler!

Its tempting but ive got two more on deck, one being cigar. Barrie last is not my favorite, TBH. I dont know if thats blasphemy here but Im strictly Aberdeen, with the occasional Van for a loafer thrown in. I prefer a more narrow last, most of my other shoes are GG/Vass etc.

I'm quite similar though I can't seem to he the Van last to work. Where's the cigar coming from?

I need some Dover fit advice. The 11.5 EE shell Dover on the Barrie last I found was too tight on the vamp. I was hoping it would work as I am an 11 EEE on the Barrie in a shell PTB. I am also an 11 EEE on the Hampton last and 11.5 EEE on the Aberdeen.

I can pre-order a shell Dover on the Tremont last, but I have no experience on this last and no experienced with an unlined shoe. Can anyone offer their suggestions on the best size to consider with this shoe on the Tremont? I always wear socks and they would be the same as I wear on the PTB. Thanks.

Always nice to see Nettleton getting some love on this site. To my knowledge, it's the only Alden retailer in Pittsburgh and the owner is as good an accommodating as they come. Sadly I have yet to buy any Aldens from him. Carmina's, Rancourt, and a brand whose name currently escapes me. But I check in from time to time and he is always happy to talk shoes and let me try on as much as I want.

I don't have the alden ones, but I have some old Florsheims. I mainly wear them with dark grays and navys.  Suits, too.The closed stitching, one color, gives them a bit of formality.

Have a new to me pair coming my way!! Thanks
