God I wish I could meet all you nerd. All y'all need to save money and come to the Mecca of repro. I'll be waiting in Kansai, back to being broke for a little bit but don't worry, I can always shop vicariously through y'all.

Miss you, dude.

Have been wearing my Toys Mccoy M-43 this week and they've been great thus far. I will have a more formal write up and photos this weekend. I also discovered TM will be releasing shell cordovan derbies this spring, retailing at 66,000 yen ($470), which is a pretty remarkable price. Currently debating whether or not to get the Buzz Rickson's Type II or the Toys Mccoy engineer boots next.

Great to hear! Are there any photos available of TM shell cordovan derbies?

As the box says, this is their own original "glass" shell leather that they also use on their Saxon work boots.

I'll be in Osaka for a work trip May 2024 (with some holiday days there while someone else is paying for the flight) if you're around then. Am planning a trip to Hoosier in Kyoto for the Freewheelers.

In for the S&S visit and a drink. Can’t make it to dinner because of visiting family. Sacafotos says he’ll probably join too. Not sure whether he plans to go to dinner.
