I'd go for the largest size you generally wear. I bought a pair of Number 5's in 11 (I usually wear 11 or 11.5) and a pair of Albin's in 11.5 and the 11.5's fit me much better, though it's hard to definitively compare sizing on two different shoes.

Thanks for the sizing input guys. I stopped by the local Rack today and fortunately that had a few pairs of PF's. The Albins felt something like 1/3 size smaller than Chucks and the No 5 slightly bigger than that.

Unless there was an event in those two weeks that he really wanted the shoes for and would have been willing to pay a slightly higher price somewhere else if they had been clear on the shipping time. I've done that with things before.

You guys are sweating it because you have to wait 12 extra days? Shoes were 70% off, I don't think an extra 2 weeks is bad at all. I had to wait near 6 and 8 months for each of my Alden Indys and I paid retail.
