Exactly why I bought a pair during the trunk sale, despite some misgivings.

If only mine were scheduled to be finished before the 20th...

I just received an e-mail from the Chicago store that my pair (nothing crazy, just a McGregor in Brown to take advantage of the waived MTO fee) are shipping today. I ordered them at the Chicago show, in case anyone is curious about timing.
