I can't imagine only charging $6 shipping for some of the things Taylor Stitch sells.

People get aggro with me over my shipping rates because I charge USPS retail (calculated by weight and package dimension)!

Flat rate international shipping is also gone. Instead of $30 shipping to Canada I'm seeing $65 for two shirts. I can't imagine they will be getting many international orders anymore.

I emailed them about this and they said their intention was to actually make it cheaper for Canadians. Sounds like the shipping calculations are still not ironed out.

On a more positive note, the blackwatch yosemite is easily my favourite shirt now. Wish the additional colourways appealed to me as I'd pick up more at retail at this point.

Got my Rover today - I sized down for a slimmer fit and really like it. Would love a beefed up version for more inclement weather (heavier lining throughout, including the sleeves, thicker canvas, etc.).

I received my olive herringbone camp pants.

These things fit incredibly, love the fabric as well.

Sold on the fit of camp pants. Will buy more.

Is it just me, or did TS change their sizing on their pants pretty drastically? I bought a pair of democratic chinos in a size 30 about 2 years ago, and they were perfectly slim. I just picked up another two pairs of them (without looking at the size charts, my bad), and they are freakin' gigantic! especially in the thigh and top block. It also looks like they are now being made in Spain. Has anyone else had this experience?

That's good to hear. It seems like their chinos now fit more like a true straight fit, or even like a pant for people with huge thighs. I may have to switch to their slim fit and just deal with these ones or get them tailored. Even laying the new vs old pairs over each other, there is a huge difference!

I actually like the democratic fit on the chinos and wish they made democratic fit for the other pants (too slim in thigh and top block for me).

Happy Monday Everyone!

I'm glad everyone has been receiving their orders!
Most of the Outdoor collection has landed at our warehouse at this point. We're just waiting on a few more Rover Jackets and Field Jackets.

@mikej77
 I'm glad Mina got you all squared away with your Camp Pant sizing, she's the greatest.

@Klemins
 You never know what the future may hold! A black denim Camp Pant would be pretty cool. I'll reach out to my designers re: seam taping and waistbands.

@brooks23
 Once you find that tape measure shoot us an email ([email protected]) and we'll get you sorted out. Thanks to @Chylo
 for the explanation :)

@oboy_oboy
 Our Camp Pants and Chore Pants have a fit all their own. They fall right in-between our slim and democratic fit. As you've noticed the thigh and leg opening is a little more tapered than our democratic fit.

See everyone Wednesday!

Got a canned reply without any real explanation from my email, so looking for other Camp Pant buyers input here: Here's the photos of my pants, measured: These are a tag size 32, which according to the size chart I ordered based on, should have a 34 1/2" waist and 8" leg opening. As the photos show, the waist is over an inch off and the leg opening is almost an inch off. I understand with mass produced clothing there is an occasional margin of error, but based on the sizing chart, these are almost 2 full sizes off. That either means there's a complete lack of oversight in the sizing chart or quality control. Can anyone with a pair of 33's or 34's post similar photos? I really just want measurements that match up with a size 32 on the chart, because that's what I need. I'm not really interested in swapping these out one size up at a time until I find something that fits, so since customer service can't say anymore than "those look like right, here's how to exchange' I figured I'd try to find someone that could actually help me.
Just received my size 34 camp pants. Waist is 16.75. Leg opening is 7.5.

Wait a minute...

So, the pants are running small? That would not be a good thing.

Someone from TS, please chime in, ASAP.

I pre-ordered the new broken twill democratic jean, but sized down based on the measurements.

Heading over now to make the apparently necessary change.

TS needs to do a much better job of the sizing on these workshop items.

I have had to send back the last 3 purchases because they ran small and the sizing didn't reflect this. Then to add on top of that they handle the exchanges using UPS which greatly increasing the shipping time from 2 days for USPS to 10 days for UPS.

I'm not usually one to complain but after forking over my money 2+ months ago my expectation would be that the sizing is at least somewhat accurate. And that the turn around time isn't 3-4 weeks for an exchange.
