I ordered 5 shirts from BENSON and BROWN. After over four months they have only managed to deliver 1 shirt. They do not respond to emails and are unapologetic about their inability to meet their commitments. BEWARE

I had the same issue with Benson & Brown no delivering my shirts (ordered 5 shirts). After 6 months I ended up having to call my credit card to fill a complain and cancel the charges.

I leaved many e-mails and tried calling multiple times without any call back.

Hi,

I go to a tailor called Sartorialto, 5525, Papineau Avenue, Montreal (Plateau Mont-Royal). Marc Patrick and Daphnée will be able to help you in anything you need. They have a lot of talented italian tailors that will create for you, everything bespoke.

Very high end fabrics, very high end products, highly recommend them :)

I always go to a tailor and alteration shop called Rockland Tailors, on 7127 Cote Saint-Luc Road, Montreal(Cote St-Luc).
The owner is a very friendly russian guy named Konstantin. He will be able to help you with anything you ask.

Great quality and fair prices as well! Been there several times, and left highly satisfied. I'd recommend for anyone!

I think price is sort of on the expensive side at Paul, I believe MarktheTailor is less, I've done a pair of pants there to try them out and it was efficient and nice work for less.
I'm not sure with detailed work if it will be the same and if the quality will be on the same level, have nothing to bring over right now.
If somebody goes there to try can you report back?

Is it just slimming or something more complicated than just taking it in in the sides?
If it's just sides anyone should be able to do it. I'm sure there must be some one in the Plateau area without the need to go to downtown.
Strange how this topic didn't generate more options, especially in Montreal where did all the old pro's gone.
Maybe we should just discuss it in french?

It is a slight sliming from the sides ( 1cm each) and and shortening the jacket by 2cm. It is expensive piece thats why **** up is not an option. Do you have a trusted tailor you would recommend? Thx

I shopped at Harry Rosen on Bloor street in Toronto for many years and would get my Bespoke suits made there. However, one of my friends back home used Pellegrino Castronovo in Montreal for a Bespoke custom suits and swears by him. So i gave this guy a try and I must agree his fits kick ass, I tried many tailors in Montreal as i went to private school there and he is the best tailor by far for Montreal bespoke tailors. I still get all my other stuff from Harry Rosen but for the bespoke tailored suits its only him. The only problem with him is that he wont sell just one pant or shirt, its a minimum order and he can talk your ear off, O ya and if you live here in Toronto he only comes once a month...

I tried Atelier Tailleur Mark and wasted 1000$. They ruined a Hugo suit that fit me fine, with unnecessary alterations that made it unwearable. The owner tried to adjust it several times - it just made me waste more time. Communication was awful, but more importantly the skill and knowledge of what should be done or avoided just isn't there.
