I don't think SuSu has ever graduated from low rise trousers. The cut has always been slim and low rise. Sad

Well, it depends on what is, for you, "high or low rise". To me SuSu suit trousers sit on top of my hip bones, 3 fingers (more or less) below my navel. That's were I like them, SuSu or any other. So to me they sit quite good...

Suit trousers, particularly if you're buying a Long size, I've found will be acceptable. For most of their other stuff it seems to be lower-ish rise (some are alright). The low rise combined with a super narrow thigh is a deal breaker on all their casual trousers for me.

Their chinos fit like women's skinny jeans. Ankle opening of less than 7" and super low rise.

In most models I go for a 42R primarily because of the fit of the shoulders and the rise of the trousers. I could probably stand to go down to a 40R, but I'd rather have more room and get them tailored. That said, I did find myself wishing the trousers on my 42s had a slightly higher rise. Generally a minor issue, though.

I just got this overcoat in navy.

http://us.suitsupply.com/en_CA/coats/navy-overcoat/J461I.html?cgid=Coats

I like it but does anyone else notice it's almost a midnight black as opposed to a navy? Not that it's the end of the world but it's "blacker than black".

I can only see blue when up against black items.

Is this the right color or did I get an odd one?

Thanks

A true navy can rather easily be mistaken for black at a distance. I wouldn't consider it an odd colour; a navy coat is quite versatile, thus you should be able to get quite a bit of use out of it. As an alternative, a grey coat is another solid option, like the coat in the post above yours.

Thanks but in person it looks midnight blue. Even in sunlight it's dark.
