SS is usually excluded from most otrium sales.

I heard that they don't do custom made with cut length fabrics anymore? They used to have a rather good custom made program, but there are much better out there these days. SuitSupply isn't "cheaper" either...

Is there anyway to sort suitsupply custom fabrics by weight?

Will they let you order a "coating" fabric in a jacket or suit if it does not show up on the custom selector online? I hesitate to ask this to the local store, they are bit pushy with tropical weights, etc.

Suitsupply have reduced their custom made jacket options on the website. You can't order single breasted jackets with a 3 button front anymore, only1, 2, or 2.5 buttons, and they've removed the the option for 4-layer canvas, leaving only 2-layer light canvas. Pretty disappointing.

Even though i always go for the light construction canvas and never ordered 3-button suit i don't like the direction where SS is going. First they cut the selection of the custom made fabrics by a lot, raised prices and now this news

I noticed the removal of the 4-layer canvas the other day too and agree - that is very disappointing. Did you drop the support team an email by any chance? I’m going to shortly, will see what they say

@SpitShine Out of interest, how did you determine that custom jackets default to the 2-layer now? I can see they've removed the choice between 2 and 4 layer but it's not clear to me which it defaults to now.

Personal preference of course, but I ordered the 2-layer for the first time on my last jacket (full canvas) and have to say I don't like it as much as the 4-layer..

I contacted customer support and got this reponse:

"We removed the 3 button option on November 7th, and for the disappointment that may cause you, we apologize. In regards to the canvas, we can confirm that the half canvas is the same as the 2-layer light, we have since removed the 4-layer option."

They also recently removed the narrow lapel option in their custom suit order options. I emailed them and they confirmed they will no longer offer it. It's too bad cause I recently ordered a custom suit for the first time, and it turned out well.
