The idea of Styleforum T-shirts with "in jokes" was started in another thread, but I think it deserves its own.  I think the T-shirts are a great idea -- funny shirts without the Urban Outfitters ubiquity.  Here are some ideas I had off the top of my head:

Brown Is For Farmer
Croc Is For Gangster
You Like It The Lamb?
Have You Had Your Wheatgrass Today? (with pic of Ann Wigmore)
Master Of The Universe (with pic of Kalra's white arm)

Chime in with your ideas.

Everyone make your design and submit it to threadless.

Then you can get 500 bucks and we get easy shirt ordering and distribution.

(CTGuy @ June 14 2005,09:35) I am not sure the trad ones are all that funny.
The only plausible explanation I can guess why that is, is that you are a WASP, perhaps its funny to those who aren't one / did not really grow up in that atmosphere... Jon.
I'm decidedly not a WASP, and I don't find the trad ones that funny either. My vote is for: 1) You like it the Lamb? (best inside joke on SF) and 2) My closet is bigger than yours (more marketable.)

I personally wouldn't wear anything with an inside joke on it that I picked up on an internet forum. I would rather just have a t-shirt that's only available to Styleforum members with a design that I would actually wear once a week.

Ok, then how about: "You like it the Style Forum?" Jon. BTW, Fok is the WASPiest name I have ever heard.

Surely there are many designers on this forum. How about some suggestions for a graphic?

How about: "Are you Trad enough?" "Who will bring balance to the Trad?" "American Trad Sucks" "Welcome to the dark side of the Trad" Jon. (see a pattern forming?)
No no...simply "But is it Trad?". Â That says it all, whereever you stand on the matter. I also like the Ernie ones.

More ideas:

I Play By The Rules (with a pic of Machiavelli)
Dior Homme Couture (with a pic of Lakshmi Mittal)

Too obscure?

Very subtle marketing.

I wouldn't wear any of the shirts mentioned so far. Some are funny, and admirable efforts, but pretty unwearable. Not only are they inside, but there's no way of explaining them properly to anyone, and I just can't see any positive effect of wearing them. Not that that's the point of clothing, but that's another discussion.

Random guy/girl: "Hey, interesting shirt. What's 'the lamb'?"
SF Member:"Uh, nothing."
RG: "Cmon, does it mean something?"
SFM: "Uh, the lamb... of... God?"
RG: "Oh..."
SFM: "No, kidding, it's just an inside joke."
RG: "Oh..."
SFM: "Between me and my internet friends."
RG: "Oh..."
SFM: "..."
RG: "..."
