Hell yeah. Picked up our order of koulourakia from the little old yia yias at church the other day. Time to start bugging my wife to make finikia now too.
Wow, wishes really do come true. I came home to this in the kitchen this evening:

Auction 9000: I'll do my best to not spend the whole time talking about that glorious collar - a made-in-London peacoat from @sehkelly
Let's start the bidding... now. This auction will end on 12/21.

Leave it to SEH Kelly to take what is admittedly an iconic piece and make it not just their own, but rethink every aspect of it to make it as badass as possible. Which is to say, this is anything but the flat, boring peacoat that your neighbor wears.

Full attention is paid to every detail, from the 27oz melton wool from a mill in West Yorkshire — an exact replica of cloth woven for the British Army going back to Victorian times to the redesigned half-raglan shoulder that keeps things comfy while looking sharp.

Have a look at those pockets, too - generous and perfect for loading up what you need, with hidden side-seam pockets to stuff your hands into on the coldest days.

But really, that collar. The pop! The way the heavy fabric stays up in the back and falls around the side. The way it still has body and life even when you wear it down! So much personality in this one.

But as always they a great deep dive on everything that went into this one, so for full details check it out here so you know what you're getting yourself into

This formidable coat retails for $715, so we will start the bidding at $358 and stick with increments of $25

Please bid generously and often! As with all of these auctions, everything will be going to support a long-time Styleforum member who has ALS.

Auction 10: We won't stop until everyone here is as cozy as can be - a shawl collar cardigan from @Amidé Hadelin

When it comes to chunky shawl cardigans, Scotland just knows what their doing and Amide Hadelin knows this too. Made by a small family-run business, these use soft, plush, geelong lambswool and real horn buttons - aka The Right Way

Mixing things up though are a few cable knit options which is a really nice take on the style. They already have vertical ribbing, so the cables feel right at home and add a lot.

As is expected, the colors are spectacular too and we have a few here to choose from. I'll include links so you can check out those closeups  and see sizing details as well.
