I'm sure you gentleman have seen this pair before but I figured I'd share another snap of it. Customer dropped these off for consignment today. Such a beautiful pair and my size too. Quite the conundrum.

Seams like St. Crispin's is now offering unstructured, blake stitched (?) summer shoes in a so called "Mediterraneo" line.

Aesthetically, the ones I've seen look quite similair to the Edward Green Portlands.

Does anyone on here already own a pair of the newly introduced "Mediterraneo" line and can share some thoughts?

Morning gents

My second pair of St. C, even with its fitting quirks, is the best fitting pair of shoes I've ever had.

Having had another long conversation with Double Monk, since fit is not 100% on point, especially with it too tight in certain areas and loose on others, the personal last should now be perfected. I'm now confident enough to pull the trigger on my third pair, a Mod 546 in VNA 999. Turn around should be around 8 weeks, give or take.

Really looking forward to it. A pair or two to go, and I should be set for life (shoes-wise)

Model 520 in the subtle grain MOU078 on the riva last. First on riva for me and my next commission continues with the same last, look at that toe box! Rubber half sole due to obvious reasons

How does that last compare to the classic last, fit wise?

I have a pair of triple monks on classic, and side zips on riva -- and as far as I can tell the fit is identical. Riva has a little more vertical room farther in the toe box, but thats the only differenceas far as I can tell.

Congratulations on the second pair! I’ve found that some of the smaller sizing issues that seem significant melt away with wears as the shoe breaks in. I do recommend the personal last and I continued to make small changes to it through my 4-5th pairs. Good luck with the third pair!
