Human nature + financial incentives cause hovering/pushiness. If you work on commission, and it's a slow day, you see what could be a high-roller walk in, are you going to let competition get to him first? Or are you going to throw caution to the wind in an attempt to hold onto this meal ticket?
it's a fine line, no doubt.

I visited the store. Nice space. VERY limited items available to see or try on. And no option currently for items of interest to be shipped to store to review and try on. Also, new manager was curt and not very pleasant to me. I'm certain the in-store experience will improve quickly.
Hey! We've sent you a private message on here. Whenever you get a chance, please get back to us!

Anyone have experience with any of the hopsack fabrics that are offered in the MTO program? If so, have you had a suit made from any of the hopsack fabrics? What's been your experience. I'm considering ordering either the dark navy Minnis or the navy Di Fabio (both hopsacks). If I don't go with the Spier MTO program I'll go with a tailor whose MTM program I have used in the past. But, I wanted to save some money and get a work horse navy suit that I can wear pretty much year round.

The hopsacks from Minnis are from the Crown Classic bunch, with a pretty English feel to them. Sturdy, good for an all around workhorse suit. Not so sure about the Fabio but have a feeling you will be disappointed, just doesn't seem like it would drape or hold up anywhere near as good as the Minnis.

I just received delivery of a suit made up the navy hopsack from Minnis last week. I agree with the above comment, a sturdy fabric indeed.

So I pre-ordered the wax touring jacket a week or so ago and the product page said expecting ship out date was around... today, give or take a day. I just checked the product page and it now says December 10-12.

Does anyone know if I managed to order on a first round and it will ship any minute now, or is the December date the new figure?

Hey! So sorry about the confusion. I just got word from our production team that they had to change the estimated delivery because the product is delayed getting to us. I do apologize for that but they will all be shipped out the minute they are received.
