What is y'alls opinion on cotton suits? I was considering an MTO in beige, is it better to go with a fresco fabric instead for warm weather occasions?
Both good for summer, one (fresco) is dressier than the other. Depends entirely on your needs/look you want.

same. When I’ve had (non-SM) cotton suits in the past, I’ve tended to wear them with a polo or with a tieless button down. Cotton suiting isn’t my favorite- I prefer cotton/linen or cotton/linen/silk blends

I only have the Sondrio medium brown check from last year. It's part of the charm that you either like or don't. I'm fine with it. I will say that I've had linen jackets that wrinkled much more easily compared to the Sondrio.
Thanks for the info! Do you do anything between wears? Steam? Iron?

Cotton doesn’t stretch and feels stiffer than wool. It has a distinctive casual look of its own. Will also fade over time but that’s part of the look. Will wear warmer than fresco. If you want a more dressy looking beige suit or if it will be very hot, go with the fresco. If you want a casual beige suit go with cotton.

I have found linen jackets susceptible to wrinkling, but you can control it by taking the jacket off and hanging it while driving and while sitting at your desk. I iron linen jackets once in a while. Shirts are one and done. You wear them for a day and toss them in the laundry pile, and after each wash you or your laundry service will iron them, of necessity.

Linen trousers are in between. They tend to wrinkle heavily at the backs of the knees, and at the lap, leaving you with cat whiskers. Unless you want to dry clean after every wearing--totally unnecessary unless you've experienced a very sweaty day-- you have to iron linen trousers yourself with each wear. Me, I iron them the minute I peel them off at the end of the day. But you could do it before pulling them on in the morning, if you want to get up a bit earlier that day.

For the shirt sizes, I was a bit surprised by the sleeve length measures. I am typically a 16 collar, 33" sleeve length at Brooks Brothers in the Milano (slim fit). Looking at the SM website, the smallest collar of 14.5 has a 33.5" sleeve length. Can anyone give some guidance on what to order based on my Brooks Brothers shirt measurements? I was tempted to choose 15.5". Thanks!

I find the way that linen trousers wrinkle to look very nice compared to pure linen sports coats with the whisker look.

SCs look bad in the back for me, though the accordion sleeves look nice.

I'm still surprised at how well made the cooper collar shirt is. As critical as I can be of S&M, this feels astounding, and not just "for the money".

Hopefully the MTM fabrics get a proper update this year.

You wear a linen shirt once and toss it in the wash?? Naw embrace the wrinkles and wear it many times before washing it, just like my cotton shirts.

Do the contemporary neapolitan suit jacket and pants fit roughly the same as the normal cut? Folks who have experience would you say they're a tad smaller or bigger fitting?
