They are defiantly insane.

Service from Patrik and team was outstanding.

For my next trick I'll be rationalizing keeping both the Voak Thorpes and the Kudu Thorpes:

Clearly very different pairs, you need both :)

Now help me understand why I need those EB bolet jodhpurs, when I bought rioja Tavistocks just last month, after seeing your photos here...

I can honestly say that you need both. Smooth calf VOAK Thorpe can be The One dress boot :). You know I have a few EG in my rotation and I'm blown away with leather quality and craftsmanship of GG over EG :nest:

My kudu Thorpes are naturally hibernating until fall/winter. But it'd be harder to rouse them until the depths of a slushy London January if they had to compete with those voak beauties. They definitely dodged a bullet.

+1

I'd go for a pair in smooth burnished calf, without norvegese, leather or millerighe soles, open to various colors.

I'd be open to having my makeup be a smooth burnished calf (if some mid brown color) and a single leather non-norvgese welt. Really would like to stick with the 946 last however.

No problem with 946. Which brown did you have in mind? Etrusco?

Would you consider aubergine, or navy?

@tdes81, I, too, am interested in a clean, brown nst without the norvegese on 946. Please include me in potential gmto.
