I'm making a change right now. Can you tell me if you see any improvement?

Yes, was able to make a multi-quoted post that previously continuously crashed / force-reloaded the site.

I think it’s the big scroll-through ads that might be the issue. The Huggies one in particular is really annoying—makes it so you cannot click anywhere on the page without being taken to the Huggies website, even if the ad has already been scrolled past.

I was away from my laptop for a few days and forced to use my iPhone. I felt like I going to have an epileptic seizure and I don't even have epilepsy

I keep getting notifications that my image is too large when I try to upload from my iphone 16 pro.

It doesn't happen on every image, just some, but I haven't figured out exactly what causes it.

I 100% don't need to be uploading full-resolution images (plus all the live-photo data and such)...but there's not a trivial way to remove it/resize during the upload process.

When you select "Drop Image", it should bring up the Photo Library. There's an option icon in iOS 18 on the bottom right. If you select that, it will allow you to select different sizes before uploading.

Hmm, small and medium are uselessly small and poor quality.

I wouldn’t mind large being a little bigger, but it is sufficient for random crap on this forum.

Need an extra large that is closer to 4k.

SF popups have repeatedly tried to enable push notifications today. Clicking "never ask again" doesn't stop it from happening. Chrome/Windows11.

This is typically due to your Styleforum cookie getting corrupted. Try signing out, then delete the cookie specific to the site. Login again, and that should fix it.

OK, I logged out, deleted the styfo cookie, and I'm still getting the popup.

I find that it's hard to search for threads even when I select "Search Titles Only". It just brings up lots of for sale posts. Is there a better way to do this? Am I missing something?

You're using the advanced search? There, you can select specific forums to search, bypassing the sale areas.

The only thing I can think of: are you using some sort of script blocker? That could be stopping the script from accepting that you don't want to receive notifications.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
